A family agreement, not a financial account
Growth points have no cash value. Shiya does not provide payments, cash withdrawals or financial services. Parents keep the real gift money. Gift entry currently uses Chinese yuan, with a conversion ratio parents can change.
Common questions
Is the piggy bank real money?
No. Growth points are an agreement within your family, not a financial account. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred as money or redeemed for cash. Gift records convert an amount into points (1 CNY to 1 point by default). Gift amounts currently use Chinese yuan; parents keep the actual money.
Can siblings and both parents use it?
Yes. You can add multiple children with separate balances and daily records. Adult family members can join through an invitation and help manage shared family content, subject to their account permissions.
