Contact Shiya ↗What is Shiya, and who is it for?
Shiya is a family app for adult parents and guardians. It brings together habit check-ins, a points-based piggy bank and parent-defined rewards. You can also save photos, voice notes and little memories, and turn them into stories. Parents set the rules and use the app together with their children.
Is the piggy bank real money?
No. Growth points are an agreement within your family, not a financial account. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred as money or redeemed for cash. Gift records convert an amount into points (1 CNY to 1 point by default). Gift amounts currently use Chinese yuan; parents keep the actual money.
How do children earn and spend points?
Parents assign points to habits, which children earn through check-ins. Parents can also record gift deposits. The family defines rewards and their point costs, and parents fulfill them. Siblings can contribute points toward a shared reward.
Can siblings and both parents use it?
Yes. You can add multiple children with separate balances and daily records. Adult family members can join through an invitation and help manage shared family content, subject to their account permissions.
Do we have to keep a journal or use AI stories?
No. You can simply use Piggy Bank, Habits and Rewards. Recording and listening live together in Moments, ready when you want them. AI story creation is optional; a parent should review generated content before sharing it with a child.
Where can I download it? Are there paid features?
Shiya is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, as a direct Android APK download, and as a WeChat Mini Program. Some story, voice and generation features involve a membership or seeds. Check the in-app purchase details. Seeds are separate from a child’s growth points.
